توضیح مختصر: ایده Windows CardSpace چیزی شبیه رویایی است که مایکروسافت برای Net Passport در ذهن داشت، یعنی یکدسته کردن identification. اما این بار با رفع مشکلات passport و با قدرت بیشتری وارد میدان شده. از مهمترین مزایای این سیستم می توان به قابلیت integration این سیستم با تمام محصولات مایکروسافت اشاره کرد.
