- as a Delphi Developer your only choise is COM Automation and i do not know any other "working" solution based on VCL or something related . about 3 years ago i translated famous Open Source Y! msg Library , LibYahoo2 to Win32 , for tech detail have a look at SourceForge and i was using both of them for a while But i'm not gonna publish that private win32-spec build 'cuz of my agreement related ethics so if you are looking for a Native and non-COM awar solution seems you should Develop your own one from scratch . as you may notice ooool third party Y!M Clients have some problems with Y! Authentication Protocol 'cuz it's not something Static and Y! Components take care of Auth Change periodically , so even using a Private API your code wont work problem-free so i recommend you Y!M Nice COM lib . try Delphi native Type library manager and have a look , its just a click n run task .
