I have W2K Server installed on my home computer. I am trying to install SQL Server 2000 on this computer. I installed it previously but then uninstalled it. I have opened the registry and deleted the microsoft sql server registry keys under hkey local machine.
In the middle of the installation I get an error stating this
"The specified file cannot be opened as read-only. Ensure the source file is present in the location specified and restart setup.
E: X86\setup\..\Binn\sql iis admin.msc" This file is on the CD and cannot be changed to read-only. Also the file is not in that exact folder.
In the sqlstp.log file it reads this
