بدون شک یکی از بهتر Editor ها برای برنامه نویسی زبانهای Opensource هست که حالا یه نسخه مجانی و Open source هم داره
ActiveState was built on open source,
and we're excited to be giving back by adding Komodo Edit
to the open source software community.
You get all the features that open source implies–usage
flexibility, community development, and increased innovation—as
well as the support of ActiveState.
Plus, Komodo Edit enters the open source arena fully tested
and with complete documentation. The few things that we were't
able to open-source in Komodo Edit will be made available as
free (as in beer) extensions.
Komodo Edit is built on the Mozilla code base and is now
licensed under the same terms as Firefox:
Mozilla Public License (MPL),
GNU General Public License (GPL), and
GNU Lesser Public License (LGPL).
